My wife and I love good Asian food and this place has it! The staff was very friendly and the service was great. We live in a city with an abundance of nice restaurants. Asuka is eleven miles away in another city. Asuka here we come!
As someone who grew up with real traditional American Chinese food in the Boston area I can say this is the best American Chinese food I have had in Tennessee. More choices than anywhere else I have been, all served hot/fresh and refilled quickly. The Hibachi area also looked exceptional, but we filled up on all the great selections and did not try it this time. We will be frequenting Asuka as often as I am in the Smyrna area.
Many choices. I adore that they have egg tarts, Very hard to find. They had meat you could carve yourself which I liked, because I like burnt ends and most places cut them off before they get to the customer. They had an interesting orange looking Jello I did not get to try. And when my daughter who's about to have her baby in one week accidentally dumped her tea they were very gracious. Not super fancy so you don't hafta dress up. My group came straight from the renfair and they were ok about it.
So I like to travel to visit different restaurants. So I decided I would give this place a try regardless of the reviews! This place was the best in Smyrna Area that I have ever tried, food was fresh, also hot. The flavors was amazing. There are so many options to choose from. I went during the lunch buffet. The restaurant was very clean I wouldn't complain about anything, except the service provided by the server's. There was 5 on the side I was sitting on. It was only 2 really interested in their jobs the other 3 was either on the phone, or cleaning beans at one of the tables, instead of picking up the dirty plates, or offering refills. I had to ask for my server twice! This is only the issue!!! Update!! This place is awesome went again on August 2 2025 at lunch. All food was great as usually. The male waiter is the best! He always stays on top of refills, and clears the plates off the tables.
